Being together

Saturday was spent together at a church eating, playing, visiting and sharing talents.
Joseph with his adoring aunt Kirsten.

A very yummy breakfast.

Joseph can be very entertaining.

Love these guys. When my brother met Russ' brother Brett he said, "it is like the cool version of Russ."

Joseph got a while pancake and I don't like how a pony tail makes Gracie look so much older.
But I do like Russ in a hat.

Gracie and Carmen. I so wish more cousins lived closer so they could play all the time.

Every time I came in to check on Joseph he had a new toy. His cousin made sure he was happy.

Ben played the Harry Potter theme

William was impressed.

Kent and Mac played a duet and I can not remember the name, but I can hear it perfectly in my head.  They did awesome.

Jessie showed us some of her paintings. That is William on the very left.

After the church we headed over to Rex and Shaleigh's and Gracie had this tea party set up in less than 2 minutes.

She fell asleep pretty quick too, with her little bum in the air.

Everyone gathered to watch the family video. Ted (Kirsten's husband) takes all these amazing photos during the reunion and then compiles them into a video with music. It is a huge highlight of the reunion for me. I love photos and I can't even explain why I love it so much, but I do. It is priceless to have him and his talent in our family.

My kids love watching all the "cousin movies". I love it 'cause it helps them remember the good times they have with their family.

Joseph was gross and spit up threw his pacifier.

Then he was cute and entertained us all during the adult business meeting.

Everyone from out of town is long gone and we are all back to normal schedules. I miss everyone and I am grateful for the sacrifices everyone makes to have a family reunion.

  1. Which brother? I can only guess that Mark would have had an opportunity to meet Brett.
