Or I guess better said - every mom deserves a shower for every baby. There is this girl Nikki in my ward and she is about to have her second baby. Her first is just 18 months old and a boy and I just got word today that she had her little girl. I can't wait to read what she writes about it. I love reading her blog, she is a good writer. She is also one of those people who is always doing something for someone, so I decided she needed to have a shower. Luckily her husband hooked me up with her sister in law who already had a surprise one in the works, but didn't know where to throw it.So I offered up my place. She did the food and games and I did the cake, drinks and decor. It was so nice to throw a shower with someone else. Even if you only communicate through email,it makes it so much easier.
Babykins is what she calls this little girl, can't wait to hear the real name.
There were some games and a wishing tree.
I made lace flower clips for the ladies to take as they left a wish for Nikki.
Remember this table? Still for sale. So are the awesome kitchen chairs.
We told Nikki she was coming to my house for a church meeting. She was surprised.
It was fun meeting more of her friends.
And celebrating the newest addition to their really cute family.
