As of yesterday our marriage is 9 years old
We celebrated by going to the place where we sealed the deal. It was wonderful, we got some answers to some questions we had and also some inspiration we didn't even know we were needing.
A lot has happened in these last 9 years. 9 moves, 3 babies (and the sick part of pregnancy), 2 miscarriages, lots of school (for Russ), 3 job changes, 6 vehicles, preschool, elementary school, somewhere between 10-15 church callings, hard times, good times, and through it all I still laugh when he swims up to me, puts his arms on the pool deck and says, "does this make me look buff?"
I love this guy so much. I thanked him for marrying me about 3 times yesterday. I don't know how I got so lucky. I don't know why he loves me, but I know he does. Cause we are one and I love it.
Oh Debs. I just got teary-eyed. I can't believe you've been married for 9 years. You guys are one of those couples that I think should be famous for being awesome. And "I don't know why he loves me"?!!?! Are you kidding me?! What's not to love?!
