Girls Weekend

I have been waiting to do this post for Jacie to post the one group picture we have of all of us and she did, yay. So now here I go. Some months back Jacie's family was here for a visit and we decided it would be fun to do a girls weekend and when I mentioned it to Jennie she said she wanted in too. Jacie is my cousin (well 1st cousin once removed, but I have always considered her my cousin) and Jennie and I grew up down the street from each other. We all spent some much of our childhood and youth together.

It is really nice having friends who know you from the beginning. Sometimes when I am with people I have met since I was an adult I don't feel like I really act like myself, I am not sure if that is true but sometimes it  feels that way. Maybe being around people I knew when I was young makes me feel young...I don't know...I am rambling.
I really wanted to eat good food on this little trip to Scottsdale and we did. This was taken the morning after we stayed up talking until 4am! So much catching up to do.

Then we went shopping at real stores and I bought what I had been searching for. Jeans that feel like yoga pants, but don't look like yoga pants. The only down side  is they are skinny which is in fashion, but doesn't look good on my figure.

Check out these chairs that were in a boutique. They look so Alice in Wonderland to me.

Then we went to get pedicures. I have not had one since I was in high school over ten years ago and Jacie had never had one!!

Jennie's pants got a little wet and shrunk up there above her calf and she had a heck of a time getting them down. It was pretty funny.
Then we got some la Grande Orange to go because the wait was loooong, and I was able to pick up a gift for Connie since she was babysitting for me.

Jacie brought her nursing baby Farrah and left her other (4!!) children at home. Keep in mind her oldest is only like 6 months older than William. I don't know how she does it, I am pretty sure I would be a basket case.
Miss Farrah was such a good little girl the whole time.

I love these ladies so much. The deal with a lot of stuff (and I mean a lot) and they do it so well. I love having friends that have the same interests, desires, and ideals as I do. The conversations could probably go on forever. When I got home after the little trip I felt pumped and energized and ready to be a better me. Thanks guys!
