Since Mark and Ashley found out they were having a girl I knew I would have to throw her a baby shower when she came to town. We were going to have it be a mostly gift card shower so she wouldn't have to lug everything back home to Nebraska but she did get some fun gifts to that was good, cause that is most of the fun.
Rachel made her a great little quilt that is the perfect colors since Sam and baby girl will be sharing a room. I am so happy for Mark, Ashley, and Sam. They are such a cute family and I know this baby is only going to make it better.
I am glad I threw the shower. I had a lot going on but I knew if I kept it simple it would be fine and it was. There was a small hiccup with Russ working the day of a Gracie waking up sick (like throwing up a lot) and me not sure how I was going to deal with that. But Connie came over and helped me finish the set up and I spent a lot of time with Gracie in the other room. Luckily she quite throwing up by the time the party started. By the time it was over she took a nap and woke up completely fine. Shortest sickness ever.
