A corner for baby

I decided that this little baby is going to sleep in our room. I don't have an extra room to put him in and it is just easier when you are nursing to have them in your room. At least that is what I think. I don't know how long he will stay in here, we will play that by ear.
Our room is very small so I was happy when I found a bassinet for $4.00 that fit just perfectly in the corner of my room.

I decided that it looked kind of sad and plain and I figured since this little guy isn't getting a nursery he should at least have a nice corner.

So I got to work, Russ took pictures of me because it is funny to see me sitting on the floor.

Here is the finished product. Nothing fancy, but just cute enough for me.

Want to know what the "J" stands for? - Joseph. I have known for a long time that I wanted to name a boy Joseph and while Russ and I were watching conference this last weekend we both had it confirmed to us that that is indeed his name.

Love the little shoes I just found and the wooden rocking horse Russ parents sent us from Norway when William was born. Haven't decided what picture to put in the frame yet. William wants to wait and put a picture of the baby so we will probably do that.
okay buddy boy - your "room" is ready, come on out.

  4. Debbie,
you are so talented! What an adorable little corner. I've always done that with my babies, too. I've always had a dream to decorate a whole nursery, but its not going to happen. I'm glad I made special corners for them. Isn't it amazing how much joy we get from a little creativity.
