One of the main reasons I was induced was because my brother Mark was coming home from his mission. I was sooo excited to see him. It was so fun to have him home. Right after he got released we took off in a mad rush to go see The Borne Ultimatum (which was awesome). He watched the the trailer on my sisters ipod since he hadn't scene it and we were late so she was driving like...well, Jason Borne. It was a lot of fun. It took William awhile to warm up to him, but he did and he loves his Uncle Mark.

Watch her grow
We are back!
We just got back yesterday from spending 3 weeks with our family. A lot happend and I am just getting used to having 2 kids, so I will get things posted slowly, but surely. At least I hope surely. We will start with going to see Jacie and her new baby.
We got to meet Rand, Jacie's little boy. They were born just 2 days apart. Gracie is our little yellow baby.
Checking out the babies
Rand nursing on Gracie's arm. They are really close.

First Day at Church
We went to church yesterday and it was Gracie's first time. A lot of people told me I was crazy for being there and that it took them a lot longer to feel good enough to go. That makes me think that I am pretty lucky that I am feeling so good and healing so well. I don't know a ton about having babies so I am not sure about how long it should take before you feel well enough to do certain things. Don't get me wrong, I am not back to my old self, but I definitely felt good enough to go to church and I am glad I did, it was a wonderful meeting.

Our Gracie Girl
So, yes, she is here. Yeah! And isn't she beautiful. I know I'm her mother, but she is such a beautiful baby. She looks very much like William did when he was born except she has brown hair. I know, can you believe it? She was born at 6:07 pm on Monday, July 30th. She wieghed 7lbs. 2oz. (a wonderful size if you ask me). She is very mild mannered and just a sweet as can be. I love dressing her up in pink. William loves her a lot. He always wants to hold her or kiss her and always says how cute she is. He has had some temper problems that I am sure have something to do with her comig home, but luckily, it is never directed at her. My mom and dad and brother and sister all came up and helped take care of William when I was in the hospital. Thanks you guys, that helped us out a ton to not havet to worry about him and if he was happy, he is always happy with you. Russ' mom and dad came up after they left and are here now helping out and loving their newest granddaughter. It is fun to have them here. Labor and delivery went very well . I loved my doctor and my nurse, they were excellent. My epidural worked well enough that I was not shaking from pain, but could feel my contractions and new when to push. Push only lasted about 12 minutes and she was in my arms, beautiful and perfect. I spent the first hour laying in bed letting the inducing gel work, the next hour was spent walking around the hospital in my awesome gown. The next hour was spent in the hot bath with jets (a wonderful place to labor, I recomend it to anyone.) After that we watched the Borne Identity on TV, got the epidural, waited for my doctor to break my water, and before we knew it, we had a daughter. It is such an amazing experience and like last time I was amazed that she actually came out, and I didn't die doing it. Anyway, we are now a family of four and I can't wait to watch her grow and get to know her personality better. Thanks for all the love!
