Christmas Eve with the Christensens

The next morning I finished up some wrapping, we packed up and headed over to the Christensens.

Where we were reunited with Brett, Natasha, and Harper. Well, Gracie was just united with them for the first time.

This is Harper giving Gracie a hug or kiss, or maybe both.

And because of their good eye and great camera (I want one, Russ) we got some great pictures of Gracie. Yes, I had to post them all because I love them!

After awhile we headed over to Rex and Shaliegh's for our Christmas Eve get together.

We had a pinate.

We did a Nativity

Gracie was baby Jesus and did very well. William would only be a shepard of Russ did too.

We did a gift exchange

I made this shirt for my nephew Daniel, it had a picture of his own character, Mike, in a comic he does. He loved it and I was so glad.

And we just had some serious good fun.

And Russ' mom had seen some chocolate hedgehogs (his parents love hedgehogs) in a catalog, but they were very expensive. So I decided to make them. We made about 25 of these and they turned out pretty cute.

On the Eve of Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas eve at my families on Sunday and it was a lot of fun. Here are the little Santa's. Gracie with her cousin Conner.

I love this face.

Marie admiring my gingerbread skills, all the kids loved it actually.

Christmas is not Christmas without popcorn cake.

The Nativity

The adorable Shepard that looks ridiculously cute with a head band on.

Karaoke

After the nativity we let the kids sing Christmas songs, it was REALLY loud in there.

Gingerbread house
Since the kids liked my gingerbread houses so much we decided to let them make one.

All in all it was a fun night.

Gingerbread houses

We had a little get together at my sisters with some of our friends from high school. As usual they were well over and hour late. About an hour after they were supposed to be there my sister, Russ, and I thought that maybe we should just go to a movie and leave a note on the door that said, "Merry Christmas, I hate you." Luckily we didn't and although they showed up late, it was fun to hang out with our friends. Lauren, Lindsey, and I made gingerbread houses. Laurens was pretty awesome but by the time we took a picture of it, it was falling apart. Oh well.

Check out burly Brett's beard, he doesn't mess around.

Look at my boy

William wanted me to lay down with him and watch a movie. Isn't he sweet.

This is what he made, and every time he lines anything up he calls it a train.

And here he is checking out a beautiful nativity that a very talented woman gave my mom. The whole thing is crocheted and I love it. She does not sell them she just makes them for her friends that help her and my parents have done a lot for her. I want one, bad.

Christmas Break

So at the begining of Christmas break we went to Russ' parents house and William had a great time doing puzzles (seriously, he did a lot of these) and making tangelo juice. If you don't know what a tangelo is, that's okay, I don't either. I think it is something inbetween and orange and a tangerine. Anywho, it was fun.

Then it was off to my parents where Gracie woke her Daddy up...

...and played with her cousin Vaeh who loves her oh, so much.

Sledding

After Russ' last day of finals we went sledding with some of the other families in the PT program. It was a lot of fun. A little cold so we could not last forever, but it was fun.

When Russ would pull William back up the hill he would laugh like a munchkin from munchkin land. Everyone would laugh at him.

The cold was a little much for me and Gracie after awhile, so we spent some of the time in the car.

Williams best buddy Trenton

William and Trenton went together and right before they went down Trenton said, "this is going to be awesome!" And it was.
After sledding we went over to the home of Steven and Jenny Kempton and ate food and played games. It was a lot of fun, but I just found out the other night that the boys CHEATED! Did you know that, Jenny? I couldn't believe it, I should have know they never would have known so many Richard Dryfus movies. Lame, lame, lame.
