A new park

The city of Mesa built a new awesome park not far from us called Riverview. It has an awesome/had apparently the kids could not wait to try it out.

William was playing in there too but running around far too much for me to be able to catch a picture of him.
And yes they were freezing it was time to walk to the car and drive home.
I was able to get a picture of the top of the crazy high rope tower. See his hand waving from all the way up there?
And here is Louise after she rolled from her back to her tummy for the first time. I laid her on her back and she just flipped right over and got a face full of grass. I think it helped that she was on the slope.
I sure love this little pudge ball.

Falcon Field - trip

Homeschool is made a lot easier by all those go-getter homeschool moms out there to set up incredible field trips for us at places like Falcon Field. The people at falcon Field a great job they had snacks and Goodie bags prepared for us. They had people speak to us; someone from air-traffic control and a helicopter pilot from the Mesa Police Department. Then they had a flight instructor talk to us. Then they let us go inside a plane.

Needless to say it was a very fun time and I'm glad we were able to go.

Disney after thoughts

Here are a few things I forgot to blog about Disneyland.
The genius idea I had for Louisa's baby bed. She's not happy in this picture, we just took it right before we left so that we could remember how we did it. But when she was sleeping she was swaddled up and slept comfortably on the pillow right next to me.

This is a cute little Olaf that Gracie made after we got back. The piece of paper that is the carrot was a scrap piece of paper left over from a project I was working on it apparently she thought it looked like Olafs nose so she colored orange and made the rest to go with it.

After we got home we wrote some thank you cards for Mimi giving us such a fun time. This is Joseph contemplating what he's going to "write" in this thank you card. And this post reminded me that all of the thank you cards came back in the mail so I need to check the address and try sending them again. Sorry Mimi.

Huston Adult Christmas Party

This year we got together with my parents and siblings at Gecko Grill. Louise came too and Connie captured what goobers we are. We melt with any smile that girl cracks.
Connie made her ugly sweater to go along with Marks and I decided last minute to pin this sock reindeer to my sweater and I actually went into the restaurant wearing it.
Mark and Ashley made their sweaters too and they were pretty awesome.
Check out the giant box of chocolates my mom brought.

It was a great night. I ended up with a cute calender and gift card to Target and Russ got the game Gestures. Oh and this was the lovely gift Russ gave (shaking my head)

Santa's Lap

We had the most real looking Santa at our church party. The kids thought it was pretty fun.

Louise was not very excited about it.
Neither was Lennon.

Little fists

Louise has just recently started being very interested in her fists. I was trying to get a picture of it but she stopped and just made some sweet faces (that's the first 2 pictures). Later she was doing the same thing and I caught it on camera (the rest of the pictures).
